Matt's Prom

Wow! I was actually a little teary-eyed for Matt's prom. Matt is my nephew who lives with me. His girlfriend Skylar lives in another town. She is very sweet and makes straight A's. She looked very beautiful in her dress and Matt looked so handsome. Wasn't Matt just born the other day? I remember going to the Children's Hospital when he was born.

While I was cooking, egg hunts were going on outside. Pepaw, Greg, and Sarah were helping to hide the eggs. Kirk had to climb under the truck to find one Sarah hid. It rolled under after he had almost found it.

Easter

We all made it to church on time-a miracle. I loved the flowers at the alter so we made pictures after mass. Ricky looks so handsome in his suit. We were glad Kirk and Sarah could join us for Easter. Kirk is my cousin Sheilla's son and he lives in Huntsville.

The hunt is on! Will they find all 51 eggs? -Nope-we actually found 2 a week later in the sunroom. Ricky left a note to the Bunny to hide his eggs up higher because he was taller this time.

We had a great time dying eggs. Kirk and his girlfriend Sarah helped. We had as much fun as the kids! I liked the ones the kids wrote and drew on with the crayons and markers.

We had Courtney's 16th birthday party the night before Easter. There were about 25-30 people there for her party. And that's just Darrell and Cathy's

side of the family!

A Visit To the Easter Bunny

Ricky wanted a pink shirt for Easter to go with his suit. We visited the Easter Bunny at the Mall-Amy insisted. When we came home Ricky wanted to try on his suit so I took pictures of them outside--PRECIOUS! He just looks so handsome and Amy's always "Pretty in Pink." They grow up so fast. Easter pictures will come soon.

Spina Bifida Bowl a Thon

Ricky had a wonderful time at the Spina Bifida Bowl-a-Thon. With family and friends he raised $221.00 for his team. GO Ricky! His doctor said she wanted to know about it next year. All of the kids had spina bifida and none were in wheelchairs so that made Ricky feel good to see others like himself. They all had one or two leg braces (Ricky has one).
